Thank you again for considering NCCA as your recipient to receive your Chess & Checker Library. We will gladly accept it and put it to good use when the time comes to receive your generous gift. We appreciate your bequeath to North Carolina Checker Association, its' members and any affiliated checker player. Perhaps your kindness will help support and nurture our "grand ole game of checkers" for many years into the future.
I recall communicating and corresponding with you about various checker libraries coming available when you lived in Nashville, NC. As our "Life-time" ACF Members age and die they leave their libraries usually without instruction to their widows as most recently Karl Albrecht, who had a substantial collection she gave away to whoever would pick them up.
I have you on our mail and email list so you know the dates of any checker tournaments. I know you get this same information through your ACF Memberhip and ACFB subscription. Please save these issues also, as we keep an archive of bulletins for checker players, and of course you are more than welcome to attend any checker event.
